We are happy to announce a new service for listeners without consistent internet or a mobile data plan. Until now all our streaming and posted offerings have been tied directly to the internet. Now we have a new way for you to connect that uses your standard phone service. This is service powered by AudioNow uses your normal phone plans which probably means that it will cost you absolutely nothing*.<br />
<br />
Save the phone number <b>641-793-0132</b> to your phone so you can listen easily whenever you are unable to make it to services. During our normal streaming times you can dial in and listen to the live service. Dial-in at any other time and you can listen to the latest posted sermon. We hope you find this new service both helpful and easy to use.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">*T-Mobile and Metro PCS subscribers may have issues or additional costs due to the way they allocate minutes in your plans. AudioNow hopes to be able to find a solution to this issue.</span><br />

<br />
We are happy to announce that we are working on a new service for accessing the Live Stream and last recorded sermon via a standard telephone. This is a great option for listeners unable to access a computer or if you are traveling. We hope to have that up and running in the very near future. As all the details are finalized and things start running we will post more updates. Updates on this new service will also be on our Facebook page or Twitter feeds as well.<br />
<br />
Feedback on the service may not be immediately available but we hope to get that feature enabled as soon as we can.The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-36194155851343160602016-07-06T15:59:00.000-05:002016-07-06T15:59:44.557-05:00More DelaysSorry once again for the delay in the July 2nd sermons. <br />
As the build up to our Unleavened Bread Super Sabbath weekend continues we wanted to reach out with some further updates and information. We hope it is still your intention to join us April 9th through 12th 2015 at the Tulsa Church of God. We would love to have you learn, praise and fellowship with us during this amazing time of year!<br />
<br />
We do have some changes to the schedule due to the availability of teachers and speakers we have had to cancel some seminars. Please see the attached PDF file for further information.<br />
<br />
<b><u>Accommodation</u></b><br />
<br />
Unfortunately April is a busy events season for the Tulsa area. While there are plenty of hotel and motel rooms available, we were not able to secure a block of rooms at a discounted rate so standard Hotel Rates still apply.<br />
<br />
For a map of local hotels that are within a convenient drive from the Tulsa Church please click on the link below:<br />

<br />
<b><u>Campfire Cookout</u></b><br />
<br />
Remember, assuming we have cooperation from the weather, we will be holding a campfire cookout event with praise music and toasted marshmallows on Sabbath evening! So please remember to bring lawn chairs if you have them and a jacket or extra sweater to stay warm in case the temperature drops!<br />
<br />
We look forward to seeing you soon!<br />

<br /></div>
<div>
The issues thus far:</div>
<div>
Last week (3/1/2014) we had no audio on anything but iOS devices such as iPhones or iPads, all other devices and computers received audio only. This week (3/8/2014) we had both audio and video on all devices as far as I am aware ( I actually never tested an Android device). The only thing that was an issue was that the video would pause for a few seconds and then run at super-speed to try and catch back up with the audio. While this was a minor inconvenience it was an improvement over the previous week. During our services I contacted the Sermon.net support team and we chatted a bit about the issue and was told that we are not the only ones with this particular problem and they requested my assistance in trying to help diagnose the issue. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The testing:</div>
<div>
After services on Sabbath I was back on the phone with Sermon.net and it was decided that it would be best if there was a live feed going that they could monitor and watch for the issue and also check their server logs and diagnostic utilities. So I started looping the recording of Mr. Andrews sermon (which should go up on our sermon page sometime today) and then streamed that as if it were live. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The results:</div>
<div>
The Sermon.net techs and engineers then spent the next several hours watching the results of our live stream to see if they could find the issue. It does appear to still be an issue with the audio codec, which I know sounds a little weird that video would be affect by an audio issue, but computers are strange that way. A final and definitive solution for our current software is not yet available but the Sermon.net team is working diligently to correct the issues. There may however be other avenues to look at to resolve the issues I will be looking at and testing those through out the week.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Please be patient as we too struggle with trying to get things working for everyone again.</div>
<div>

Unfortunately, I have not had time to discover all the things that the update has changed yet. One I do know of is the Online Sermons.When you click on the links on the sermon titles it will try to download the audio instead of going to the video page like it used to. To get to the video for now click the Online Sermons button on the left side of the home page and then click the heading 2014 Online Sermons. That will get you to the video I hope to be able to work on this issue on Sunday and have things working properly again. Please bear with me while I work through the changes.<br />
<br />
Update: One of the new features is what Sermon.net calls a media center. I have integrated that into the sermons page. now there is now there is no need to be switched to a different site. As of right now only the current year is setup however as the day goes on the others should start to transfer as well.<br />

Just head over to the Online Sermons section and click the new Feast of Tabernacles 2013 link on the right side. Currently the Tulsa speakers are up and running already, bringing the other speakers up as fast as possible.The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-20103074305306623322013-09-07T20:40:00.001-05:002013-09-07T20:40:20.967-05:00Feast of Trumpets Sermon DelayApologies to anyone looking for Pastor Gregory's sermon from the Feast of Trumpets. There seems to be a file related issue that is causing a bit of a delay. We will be working on this as soon as we can but unfortunately we are still not 100% what the problem is. Look for an update hopefully sometime tomorrow afternoon. The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-79669502975933972632012-07-17T09:40:00.000-05:002012-07-17T09:42:13.492-05:00Online Sermons update + tutorialJust wanted to let everyone know that there have been some minor changes that included major upgrades to the Online Sermons section.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So we have gone back to the old look with everything in nice neat columns instead of the integrated video on the page. This makes a lot of sense as the newer style for whatever reason despite my best effort did not display who the speaker of a given message was. So its all back to normal now. Also you can still sort the messages by clicking one of the headings.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
All the message titles now link over to the Sermon.net entries. We now have audio for every message that we have recorded going all the way back to 2003 available on Sermon.net. 2012 & 2011 also contain video for most if not all the messages.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now there are some interesting features that some of you may want to know so below is a quick tutorial/feature guide for your reference.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
===========================</div>
<div>
Clicking on any sermon title will take you to that messages Sermon.net entry, if the message has video available if you click on the play button on this entry than the video will load and start playing, otherwise it will be audio only.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
If you would like to change from the video archive to the audio archive click the Media Menu button and then click Play Audio. From this menu you can also choose to download the audio or video of the sermon.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn4piQIBOibQDIyKRM9YQ0YSVcxU-yI8taoNy7cpBGlFOrdwPPwIJ5OccmEWY_ke_plc1pch17LZofc350xd3fGfddA0i0LROf2ojS636LGzUlh_r94wwj7a_VCLUlLKyHiNCm08eNklM/s1600/media_menu.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="188" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgn4piQIBOibQDIyKRM9YQ0YSVcxU-yI8taoNy7cpBGlFOrdwPPwIJ5OccmEWY_ke_plc1pch17LZofc350xd3fGfddA0i0LROf2ojS636LGzUlh_r94wwj7a_VCLUlLKyHiNCm08eNklM/s200/media_menu.png" width="200" /></a></div>
In the same content area below the playback you will notice that there are a few other things you might find interesting. For instance if you are already signed into Facebook on your computer you can click the Like button to share with your friends, same with Twitter. There is also a Share button that will allow you to share with about 325 other services as well.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
There is a Bible tab that you can use to look up the scriptures as you go if you prefer to see a different translation rather than the one given in the video, or to chase an idea that you may get while listening to a speaker.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The Notes tab can be used to take notes about a message and then save it all down to a PDF with just a click of a button.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
On the Conversation tab you can use a handful of services to start a discussion about a particular message or reply to someone else if they have already started a discussion.</div>
<div>
===========================</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As usual if you have any questions or comments please feel free to email me or post a reply to this post.</div>The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-16706175444690032502011-11-14T08:26:00.000-06:002011-11-14T08:26:54.735-06:00Podcast UpdatesOK everyone, I'm back again to give you a few updates about the Podcast feeds. I'll probably be adding a few new links on the home page to reflect the changes. But real quick here are the main changes in a lovely yet straight forward list.<br />
<br />
<ol><li>Video podcast is up and running in iTunes so if you search the iTunes store for Tulsa Church of God you should find that if you are interested.</li>
<li>The audio podcast feed has changed location if you are using iTunes then it should have auto-updated now and you should be good.</li>
<li>Zune users (if there are any still) I'm sorry I had no idea I broke the Zune. I'm going to be trying to get the new feeds submitted soon. However, if you click on the collection option at the top of the Zune software and then click podcasts, on the left side towards the bottom, you should see an option to add a podcast. Here are the URLs for the two feeds<br />
Video: http://sermon.net/rss/client/tulsachurchofgod/type/video<br />
Audio: http://sermon.net/rss/client/tulsachurchofgod/type/audio<br />
Both in one feed: http://sermon.net/rss/client/tulsachurchofgod</li>
<li>If you are using any other podcast software you probably haven't gotten the new updates recently because the code I have for auto redirect is only for iTunes. You can now delete the old feed and add one or both of these.<br />
Video - http://sermon.net/rss/client/tulsachurchofgod/type/video<br />
Audio - http://sermon.net/rss/client/tulsachurchofgod/type/audio<br />
Both in one feed - http://sermon.net/rss/client/tulsachurchofgod</li>
</ol><div>When you get these new feeds you will notice a big jump in the number of available messages especially the audio one. The podcast feeds now contain all the available backlog of messages as well. So if you are interested in older messages keep an eye out as that list grows as I add more and more of our back catalog into the stream.</div>The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-6277122812340865502011-10-01T12:38:00.000-05:002011-10-01T12:38:49.380-05:00Official move to Sermon.netSo the trials of Sermon.net went relatively smooth. We only had a few hiccups and that was mostly due with just trying to get users over to the new page on such short notice. So with that we are proceeding to move all of our content to Sermon.net.<br />
<div><br />
</div><div>Live streaming has been easy enough, I even put an embedded player into the home page for watching the live stream right from there if you want. Sadly not yet compatible on the iDevices, I have been told soon they will have some embedded players that will work without the Adobe Flash. If you want the full player including archives head over to <a href="http://sermon.net/tulsachurchofgod">http://sermon.net/tulsachurchofgod</a> or click the Sermon.net button on our home screen or Sabbath Bulletin page.</div><div><br />
</div><div>Getting all the archived content is a much longer process. If you head over to our main Sermon.net page at <a href="http://sermon.net/tulsachurchofgod/">http://sermon.net/tulsachurchofgod/</a> you will find that messages available kind of jump around. I was able to upload some audio very quickly and started from 2003 moving forward through 2007, but then decided to do it the reverse and work backwards but the videos take much longer to upload and process and I run out of time in the day to get very many done. Once the archives are more complete you may see some changes to our website to utilize those archives more. We also have the ability to upload the the handouts our speakers may use as well a good example of that that we have uploaded is Art Williams message <a href="http://sermon.net/tulsachurchofgod/sermonid/2786598">"Why Did I Do That?"</a>, just look for the PDF logo under the video display.</div><div><br />
</div><div>Very quickly I want to run through the status and future status of some of our other outreach mediums:<br />
<b>USTREAM:</b> This is pretty much dead to us. The cost of removing what ads we could was far to costly and then they still stuck "Recommended streams" on the page that promoted concepts that were not in line with our beliefs.</div><div><b>VIMEO: </b>We are going to keep Vimeo around and actually upload the videos to both places. Vimeo has a very nice HTML5 interface and the videos work seamlessly on every device I have tried it on, the cost is low so we figure why not. The direct link to our Vimeo archive is: <a href="http://www.vimeo.com/tulsachurchofgod/">http://www.vimeo.com/tulsachurchofgod/</a>. </div><div><b>ITUNES:</b> iTunes is still alive and well (with a minor name change if you look closely) and will remain so. Once I can finish up some details with the Sermon.net stuff we also plan to add a video podcast so you can have those downloaded as well or instead of the audio only version.</div><div><b>ZUNE:</b> Hope to update this one as well to reflect the video options.</div><div><b>FACEBOOK</b> and <b>TWITTER:</b> I still think these two services have some potential that I haven't tapped into yet. With the Feast of Tabernacles just around the corner I doubt there will be any big changes on these fronts. I may start looking for volunteers to help with making more use of these services in the future. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts of how to utilize these services for outreach drop me a line at tulsachurchofgod@gmail.com and I will take it into consideration.</div><div><br />
</div><div>Oh one last thing. Sermon.net has and <a href="http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sermon.net/id385060535?mt=8">iPhone app</a>. If you have an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad you can use that app to access all of our content on Sermon.net as well, including the live stream. Just install the app, go to the search button and look for The Tulsa Church of God and look for the one with Lawrence Gregory's name on it. Click it and then click subscribe and it will add us to the Channels portion of the app. That will keep you up-to-date on all of our content on Sermon.net.</div><div><br />
</div><div>Thank you all for checking in on us and I hope you all have a wonderful Feast of Tabernacles. Which also reminds me; if you have been to any of our special Praise and Worship services and like what you hear, the Tulsa Worship Team (well most of them anyway) will be performing services several times in Branson, MO for the Feast of Tabernacles. So if you are interested in more details just drop me a line and I will give the specifics.</div>The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-62392102199282389572011-09-16T22:50:00.000-05:002011-09-16T22:50:45.327-05:00Sermon.net TrialSo we were recently informed of a service that I had not heard of before called Sermon.net. This website is designed specifically for churches that want to be able to make their content available to the internet. This Sabbath, September 17th, we will start running live stream tests and so our normal UStream broadcast will be off. Instead there will be essentially an introduction video playing on loop in case someone has a link directly to the UStream page.<br />
<br />
Below is the video that should be playing on the UStream page if everything is working as it should.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><embed align="middle" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" bgcolor="transparent" flashvars="clientid=32626&sermonid=2780751&d=http://sermonplayer.com/&autostart=false" height="312" name="mini_video_player" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" quality="high" src="http://sermonplayer.com/swf/mvp2.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="416" wmode="transparent"></embed> </div><br />
For now I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on and later I will make another post expounding on the different features of Sermon.net.<br />
<br />
I hope everyone has a smooth transition. If you have any issues, questions or comments please leave a comment on this page or email tulsachurchofgod@gmail.com and let me know and I will do my best to address what I can.The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-27111957792319284272011-07-15T08:05:00.000-05:002011-07-15T08:05:26.086-05:00Apologizes to podcast usersI just wanted to take a moment to apologize to the any users who had been downloading our podcasts for it not working the last few weeks. It is back up and running again and hopefully I have learned my lesson when it comes to watching my code :) . Not being a programmer full time I'm still amazed sometimes how a few characters in the wrong location can mess up an entire page.<br />
<br />
Again very sorry, but now you have a few new messages to listen to.<br />
<br />
Enjoy and have a wonderful day.The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-38098800259361450842010-08-14T14:21:00.001-05:002010-08-14T14:21:46.846-05:00Justin.tv trial run- Aug 14th<div class="posterous_autopost"><div style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">So as many have noticed the ads on Ustream.tv were getting pretty ridiculous. With the new pre-roll that that they do before you could watch the live stream it was getting very frustrating for many people. Sadly the number of free solutions is very limited and the ones without ads even more so (non-existent that I could find). Today, August 14th, we are trying Justin.TV. While it still has the ads at the bottom we have yet to see a pre-roll so that is already a plus in my opinion.</div><div style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">You may have already noticed that we have embedded the Justin.tv feed into the front page of the <a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.net/">website</a> and also switched the Ustream button to a Justin.tv button. If you would like to participate in chat please click the link below the embedded video or the button on the right. You will need to signup for a free Justin.tv account to participate in chat (very sorry for that).</div></div><div style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><br />
</div><div style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">There is a way for each individual to remove the ads if they wish by signing up for a Pro account but I <b><i>do not suggest</i></b> that anyone do that at this time. If after some testing we decide to switch services permanently then that will be up to you. </div></div><div style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">Please <a href="mailto:tulsachurchofgod@gmail.com">email me</a> to let me know which service you prefer or if you know of another service that we can try.</div></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><b>UPDATE: We tried it and it failed miserably. But I don't think it was a problem with Justin.tv at all. I'm pretty sure I have some settings wrong on the system sending the stream out. I will do some more testing through the week and we may give it another try in the coming weeks.</b></div></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;">--Brian Gawith</div></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"> The Tulsa Church of God</div></div><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"><div style="margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px;"> Webmaster</div></div></div><div style="font-size: 10px;"><a href="http://posterous.com/">Posted via email</a> from <a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.posterous.com/justintv-trial-run-aug-14th">The Tulsa Church of God's Posterous</a> </div></div>The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-81687376529615035482010-08-12T13:33:00.001-05:002010-08-12T13:33:23.529-05:00Shocked by the Bible Content<div class='posterous_autopost'><div>By popular demand we have revised the content and we will be keeping the site around until further notice. </div><p /><div>On the site you will find all the audio related to the <b><i>Shocked by the Bible</i> Event</b>. As well as the flash ad that we ran on our main website during the week leading up to the event. </div> <p /><div>A link is available on the front page on The Tulsa Church of God website (<a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.net">tulsachurchofgod.net</a>) but can also be reached at <a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.net/shocked">tulsachurchofgod.net/shocked</a>.</div> <p /><div>If you want to download any of the audio content you may right-click and choose Save As.. on any of the links on the page. With our internet connection and recently discovered power issues within our church building we have had issues in the past of problems with the streaming and when the streaming goes down it really disrupts the recording. So we are going to now start using a service called Vimeo for our video archive, as well as UStream.</p> <p>Ustream will still be used for our live streaming and we will also continue to record with UStream so that there is new content up there available for anyone who may be doing searches within that service. The links in the Online Sermons section of the website will however start changing from UStream to Vimeo. For the first few weeks it will only be new content that is on Vimeo and all existing recording will still be hosted by UStream. But in the near future you will start to see that the archived videos will start switching over as well. </p> <p>There are several benefits and perks to switching to this new setup:</p> <ul> <li>Content will be in multiple locations most of the time</li> <li>Vimeo will be less prone to video glitches as the video is recorded locally and then uploaded</li> <li>Support for a higher quality video</li> <li>No ads on the recorded content</li> <li>You can download the videos. (a Vimeo account is required but like UStream its free)</li> <li>Speaker albums; once we get more messages up there we will be able to link to an album that contains all the messages by that speaker.</li> </ul> <p>Just wanted to let it be know so there was no major confusion when things started changing. If anyone has any requests for any specific messages they would like uploaded please send an email to <a href="mailto:tulsachurchofgod@gmail.com">tulsachurchofgod@gmail.com</a> and we will see what we can do to add that to top of the list.</p> <p> </p> <p style="font-size: 10px;"> <a href="http://posterous.com">Posted via web</a> from <a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.posterous.com/another-updatechange-to-online-videos">The Tulsa Church of God's Posterous</a> </p> </div>The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-37708226345657812742010-05-30T00:35:00.001-05:002010-05-30T00:35:47.639-05:00Easier Access to Video Sermons<div class='posterous_autopost'>Just made some changes to the <a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.net/sermons/2010sermons.htm">Online Sermons</a> section. On sermons that have both a video version as well as the standard audio I have added seperate links. This should provide much easier access to all the the available video messages without having to go dig through the USTREAM archives. <p style="font-size: 10px;"> <a href="http://posterous.com">Posted via email</a> from <a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.posterous.com/easier-access-to-video-sermons">The Tulsa Church of God's Posterous</a> </p> </div>The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4988492567206696537.post-63493124609892735292010-05-29T18:50:00.001-05:002010-05-29T18:50:06.911-05:00New Commentary from Ron Willhoite<div class='posterous_autopost'><span style="">Ron Willhoite just posted a new commentary titled "Don't Forget!". This section is still under development but you may still request a username and password. Currently the sections available that have content are the Phone Directory as what was published at the beginning of 2009, and the Birthdays and Anniversaries Calendar is up and running.</p> <p>The Phone Directory listings are the same that are in the January 2009 Phone Directory so there are plenty of changes that we need to get posted and as soon as we can we will get that done.</p> <p>The Birthday and Anniversaries Calendar still currently only lists First Name and Last Inital. This will get changed over the course of the next few days.</p> <p>There is also an announcement section where we will post announcements that we do not wish posted on the main announcements page. So this will mostly only include letting people know of address changes or things of a personal nature.</p> <p>Also in the works is an Order of Services online form. The plan is to setup 1 to 2 online forms that will allow song leaders and speakers coordinate the song service; for example a speaker can choose from a list of topics that apply to their message and that will be submitted to the song leader so they can see a list of songs that may have a similar message. We hope to include a way to see how many times a particualr song has been sung and the last time it was used.</p> <p>If you would like to signup to see this section of the website please see Brian Gawith at church and he will get you setup with a username and password.</p> <p style="font-size: 10px;"> <a href="http://posterous.com">Posted via web</a> from <a href="http://tulsachurchofgod.posterous.com/members-only-section-in-beta">The Tulsa Church of God's Posterous</a> </p> </div>The Tulsa Church of Godhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05273862999265116326noreply@blogger.com0
